New News!
Baby's now the size of a mango!
Vernix caseosa, a greasy white substance made of lanugo, oil, and dead skin cells (yum) now coats baby's skin, shielding it from the amniotic fluid. (Picture yourself after a nine-month bath, and the need for protection makes sense.) You might get to see the vernix at birth, especially if baby is premature.
Also, here is a picture of my belly as of 19 weeks! The little one is really starting to grow now! The past couple of mornings I have woken up and thought that I've felt bigger...crazy! I probably look big too, because I ate breakfast for dinner with some of the girlfriends last night (Whit and Katie!!!). It was reeeallly good though!
FYI: I will be making a post on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 31st (This Wed.) because I find out the sex of the bambino!!! I'm sooo excited! Make your guesses below (Under comments) and we'll see who is right on Wed.! LOVE YOU ALL!
Im gonna guess boy since there are only girl grandchildren. We need a boy in the mix.
